The rumors are true: CrumbSnatchers frontman Sam “Guetts” Guetterman has moved to Philadelphia — and that’s Philadelphia, Pa., not the tiny Tennessee town just up I-75 from Guetts’ native Lenoir City.
Not to fret, ‘snatchers fans. “We’re still operating out of Knoxville,” says Guetts. “We have shows booked through the end of the year.
“Music is my priority, so I’ll be working jobs that will enable me to make trips to Knoxville. When I do, I’ll being working intensively on making new music with these guys. The plan is that things won’t slow down any. It’s just that when we are together, we’ll be working with more intention.”
In the meantime, the band has also picked up bass player Dylan Dawkins, veteran of the Royal Bangs. Guetts says he looks forward to recording with the new lineup, somewhere down the road.
“We have a bunch of new material written,” he says. “We’ll continue to write and write until we have a big collection of new material, then we’ll think about going into the studio. Maybe another EP?”
